In this article, I will show you how to write a program to ask the user to give a string and then the program will check if the given string is a palindrome or not a palindrome using Java programming language.

I am currently accepting programming work, IT projects, school and application development, programming projects, thesis and capstone projects, IT consulting work, computer tutorials, and web development work kindly contact me in the following email address for further details.  If you want to advertise on my website kindly contact me also in my email address also.     System.out.println("\n");

Scanner in = new Scanner(System. in);
System.out.print("\tGive a String : ");
original = in.nextLine();
int length = original.length();
for ( int i = length - 1; i >= 0; i-- )
reverse = reverse + original.charAt(i);
System.out.println();
if (original.equals(reverse))
System.out.println("\tThe string " + original + " is a palindrome.");
else
System.out.println("\tThe string " + original +  " not a palindrome.");
   System.out.println("\n");
System.out.println("\tEnd of Program");
        System.out.println("\n\n");
}
